What is Dermaplaning?
Our skin is constantly shedding old skin cells and replacing them, and these dead cells have a tendency to clump and dull our complexion. Dermaplaning helps to make this rejuvenation process better by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz.
How does it work?
Dermaplaning is a great way to easily address a dull complexion. It is a unique and safe exfoliation process that is performed with a scalpel, and can result in smoother skin, improved elasticity and texture, and decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, the treated skin works for better product absorption and flawless makeup application.
What can I expect from the treatment?
The entire process takes from 10-20 minutes and can help prepare your skin for the effectiveness of additional other treatments. The treatment requires no downtime, though you may experience some irritation and redness immediately after the treatment that will fade after a few hours. Results can be seen and felt for months afterwards, and removed hair will not grow back darker or thicker afterwards.
